Welcome to Mollycoddle Pet Care (‘we‘, ‘us‘, or ‘our‘). These Terms and Conditions (‘Terms‘) govern your use of our website http://www.mollycoddlepetcare.co.uk (the ‘Site”) and our pet care services: including dog walking, pet taxi, home visits and overnight stays (the ‘Services‘).

By using our Site or booking our Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

Dogs must wear a tag to satisfy UK law

During periods of severe weather (Heatwaves and snow fall) walks may need to be rearranged or cancelled with short notice.

Your dog will be collected, transported safely and walked for the duration specified, then returned to your home and left in the room of your choice. Dogs will be towelled off but may not be 100% clean. Collection times are approximate and may be affected by traffic/roadworks or other influences outside of our control.

Terms and Conditions;

This contract can be cancelled by either party (owner of walker) by giving no less than 28 days notice in writing.

The walker may cancel this contract immediately in the following circumstances;

1. Aggressive behaviour from the dog

2. Payment arrears of more than 28 days

1. Services Provided

Mollycoddle Pet Care offers a range of professional pet care services: including dog walking, pet taxi, home visits and overnight stays.

Service availability, pricing, and details are available on our website or by direct inquiry. We reserve the right to modify our services or pricing at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book our Services. By using the Site or contacting us, you confirm that you meet this requirement and have the authority to enter into a legally binding agreement.

3. Booking and Cancellations

Bookings can be made by phone or email.

An initial meet and greet will take place with the client to ensure the client and Mollycoddle Pet Care are happy to proceed with the booking.

The booking will not be accepted if the Information Form has not been submitted by the client. By submitting our Information Form, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Cancellations must be made in writing, whether by text, email or WhatsApp. The time of cancellation shall be determined based on the time of the communication received and read by Mollycoddle Pet Care.

Pet taxi, home visits and dog walking: We will only charge the full value of the service if we are en route to or have arrived at the booking, or the client returns early during a booking.

Overnight stays:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance: No charge
  • Cancellations made between 24 to 48 hours in advance: 50% of the service value
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance: 100% of the service value

We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling but cannot guarantee availability.

If Mollycoddle Pet Care is forced to cancel a booking after it has been confirmed, a full refund will be provided, unless we secure adequate cover.

4. Payments

We accept payments by cash or bank transfer.

Pet taxi, home visits and dog walking: Payment can be made on the day of the booking or within seven days of invoice being sent.

Overnight stays: A minimum of 50% of the service value is to be paid 48 hours in advance.

All prices are in GBP (£). Prices are subject to change with notice.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information about their pet(s). Notify us of any medical, behavioural, or safety concerns in advance. Ensure pets are non-aggressive and up-to-date with vaccinations. Provide safe and secure access to the property if needed.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services if it is reasonably thought the animal in our care is badly behaved or aggressive, either towards humans, animals or property.

6. Keys

We ideally like to use key safes at your property. If you wish, your keys can be retained for future bookings. They will be kept secure and separate from your contact information. Should you opt to leave a key hidden in your garden, this is done at your own risk.

7. Images

We love to take pictures of your pets to post on our Facebook and Instagram pages, Please let us know if you do not want your pet included.

8. Liability

While Mollycoddle Pet Care strive to offer the best possible care:

We shall not be held responsible for any damage to client’s property or that of others, caused by client’s pets during the period in which they are in our care. We also can not be held liable for any injuries your pet may incur while in our care or that of other people while under our control.

We are not responsible for service disruptions due to weather, emergencies, or transport delays.

It is your responsibility to insure your pets. We have suitable insurance in place but it is not a substitute for your own insurance.

Clients agree to indemnify us against claims arising from their pet’s behaviour or health.

9. Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, we will contact you using the numbers provided by you on the Information Form. If you are unavailable, we reserve the right to seek veterinary assistance.

In a life-threatening situation, we will seek immediate veterinary assistance. This may mean we do not contact you in the first instance and will therefore contact you at the earliest opportunity.

The owner is responsible for all associated veterinary bills. If the illness or injury is the direct result of the carer’s actions or negligence, the responsibility for the veterinary bills may be reconsidered. 

10. Overnight Stays

Unless otherwise arranged any dog/s will be walked for at least half an hour twice a day. Any animals will not be left for more than 3 hours at a time, unless agreed otherwise with the client.

11.Holiday and Sick 

We will let you know of any scheduled holiday days with a minimum of 3 weeks notice. On the very rare occasion we are unable to fulfil a service due to ill health or personal circumstances, we will let you know immediately and will do our best to arrange adequate cover.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on our website – including logos, text, images, and layout – is the property of Mollycoddle Pet Care and may not be copied or used without permission.

13. Termination of Services

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if:

We feel unsafe, A pet behaves in a threatening or dangerous way, Or you breach these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The most recent version will be available on our website. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of any updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved through the courts closest to Gillingham, Dorset.
